Attorney Homsey is a graduate of Northeastern University with a B.A. in Economics (1972). He then attended Suffolk University Law School in Boston where he was awarded a Juris Doctorate Degree (1977). He served on the Governor’s legal staff, the Executive Council, and then entered the private practice of law. He is admitted to the practice of law in all the Courts of the Commonwealth as well as the Federal District Court for Massachusetts.
In his practice over the years, Attorney Homsey represented the ExxonMobil Corporation as legal counsel in Massachusetts for nearly twenty years, and numerous individuals injured through the negligence or misconduct of others. He has served as lead trial attorney in significant victories in civil rights cases, personal injury cases, workers’ compensation cases, discrimination cases (sex, handicap, age and race), criminal cases, and many others. Attorney Homsey has been appointed Hearing Officer for government related employment cases, and has represented employees who were victims of unlawful discrimination, wage violations, or personal injuries. He has represented individuals, the government, and private corporations.
